Soap maker extraordinaire Mun Hun, carefully makes these soaps in Indonesia just for us. Mun has been on various TV programs demonstrating his soap techniques. Mun, an engineer by trade, got interested in soap making to help clear up his own problematic skin. As it was successful for him, he began sharing his soaps with others, and suddenly his soaps were very much in demand. Often Mun creates soaps for very specific skin needs.

We asked Mun to please make us a Bamboo Charcoal Soap that is extremely moisturizing for winter dry skin and this is what he came up with. It is a beautiful soap, half black, half white. It is not as hard as our Charcoal Remedies soap, you will want to be sure to use a soap dish that will keep it from sitting in water between uses.

Coming half way around the world, this soap unfortunately got some dings and little dents on it. We are therefore offering this soap at a discounted price. Don't get me wrong, it is still beautiful, just not 100% perfect in appearance, but a fabulous soap nonetheless and still looks great looking for gift giving.

It comes in an environmentally friendly bio degradable plastic wrap. Check out Mun's ingredients below and yes, he uses our Bamboo Charcoal!

A hand made (very small batches)
sulphate free soap,
enriched with activated bamboo
charcoal, shea butter, kokum butter,
cocoa butter, mango butter, avocado
butter and goat’s milk for a gentle,
cleansing bar.
