NORIT SA4 is a 100% activated charcoal and complies with the US Food Chemical Codex. Its source and specifications match very closely to Veterinair® - used extensively (and exclusively) iin Europe in animal feeds as an antidote for poisoning and to control diarrhea - e.g. as a result of food poisoning. It is vegetable-based and able to adsorb numerous harmful or undesirable substances that may be present in the gastro-intestinal tract. Added side benefit is its ability to help control animal odors.
There are no special warnings or precautions.
It may be used (as far as is known) during pregnancy and lactation.
It is administered orally, preferably in the feed, drinking water or milk.
This product will interact with certain medications (especially estrus suppressant drugs) preventing their absorption.
There is no worry of overdose.
Withdrawal periods: Zero days.
Shelf-life: In excess of 3 years.
Special precautions for storage: Keep well sealed during storage.
