Your new soap will last longer if you let it dry out in between uses. This simply means, don't let it sit in a puddle of water on the sink edge or in the shower. Use a soap dish that drains or holds the soap up a bit so it can dry on both sides. If you do this, your lovely soap will remain nice and hard, continue to lather richly until the very end, and the scent will remain strong to that last bit. Attention Soap Makers: We have 3 grades of activated charcoal powder below for soap making. 1 Tablespoon charcoal powder per Kilo of oils is about the average.
